- Residence Inn by Marriott is designed to make you feel at home for a day, a week, a month or more. Our suites give you fifty percent more space than a traditional hotel room. The Residence Inn Birmingham Inverness is conveniently located two miles east of Interstate 459 on US Highway 280 in the Inverness Park area. Downtown Birmingham is ten miles northwest of the hotel. * All suites feature complimentary high speed Internet access with wireless service available in meeting space and public areas of the hotel. Studios are large open rooms with either one queen bed or two double beds, full bath and furnished living/dining area with fireplace in double bedded studios. Penthouse suites are bilevel units with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and one queen Murphy (pulldown) bed, full bath and furnished living room with dining area and fireplace on the main level. All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishes and glassware, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. Pets allowed with USD 100 non-refundable cleaning fee. / A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served daily featuring breads and pastries, cereals and hot oatmeal, eggs, fruits and juices, hot and cold beverages, waffles and yogurt. * Please note the Residence Inn Birmimgham Inverness is undergoing renovation through the first of March 2004. The interior and exterior of each building will be done one building at a time. The evening hospitality hour is not being offered during the renovation period.
